Ramona Ulrich book

A factual report of Ramona Uhlisch (in German language)

Hardcover: 307 pages

Publisher: Schild Verlag

Language: German

ISBN: 978-3-869-940-397

The book should be read by every cancer patient. It is certainly true that there will always be opponents of alternative medicine, but conventional medicine is also very hard and tedious. But every patient has the right to consider all the therapy possibilities. The ECT treatment saves organs and is often without the horrible side effects of conventional medicine. But you have to be very tough, as Mrs Uhlisch is, to withstand the incapacitating form of conventional medicine. It becomes very clear that fears and worries were approached positively. A great book that also has a lot of useful tips.

Chemotherapy of advanced carcinoma

A critical inventory

Ulrich Abel

Hippocrates Verlag GmbH, Stuttgart 1995

2nd updated edition

Language: German

ISBN 3-7773-1167-7

Excerpt from the book "Chemotherapy of advanced carcinoma"
The work provides a comprehensive analysis of the clinical studies, publications and personal responses made in response to a questionnaire by clinical oncologists on the question of whether cytostatic chemotherapy prolongs survival time or at least improves the quality of life of patients with advanced epithelial tumors. This question has ethical, scientific and economic importance. The following facts are reported as results of the research:

1. At least 80% of cancer deaths in the Western industrialized countries are caused by (advanced) epithelial malignancies. Apart from lung cancer (especially small-cell), there is no direct evidence to suggest that systemic chemotherapy alone prolongs survival in these patients. With the exception of ovarian cancer, the indirect evidence available generally does not suggest that effect. In the treatment of bronchial and ovarian cancer, the expected prolongation of life is at best modest, and a less aggressive procedure seems to be at least as effective as today’s standard practices.
This conclusion is partly inconsistent with the published evaluations of chemotherapy, which often draw an over-optimistic picture of the effects of the therapy. Manifold misinterpretations of study results give rise to an unjustified positive judgment on the therapy. Perhaps certain subgroups of patients do benefit from the therapy, but there is insufficient information to be able define those groups precisely.
There is evidence for some tumor sites that in the case of locally advanced disease, the combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy is superior to radiotherapy alone. However, the evidence currently available can by no means be regarded as conclusive and the benefit of this combination with its severe side effects is at best minimal.

2. In the overwhelming majority of publications the effect of chemotherapy is equated with response, regardless of its effect on survival time. Many oncologists take it for granted that a response to therapy prolongs survival, an opinion which is based on a fallacy and is not supported by controlled studies.
It is still unclear whether the patients treated with chemotherapy benefit in terms of quality of life.

3. Overall, with few exceptions, there is to date no good scientific basis for administering chemotherapy to asymptomatic patients with advanced epithelial malignancies. Although this is also the assessment of many internationally renowned oncologists, ongoing studies do not take this fact into account. There are none of the urgently needed studies for almost all forms of cancer, such as for example, studies of response to reducing dose or comparisons between immediate and delayed chemotherapy.
It seems that clinical oncology finds itself in in an epistemological blind alley from which it is hard to find a way out. Belief in the life-prolonging effect of therapy is an important foundation not only for cancer therapy, but also for the usual post-treatment programmes.

Chemotherapy Heals Cancer and the Earth is Flat

Encyclopedia of unconventional cancer therapies by Lothar Hirneise

Hardcover: 830 pages
Publisher: Sensei Verlag;
Edition: 9 (December 2010)
Language: German
ISBN-10: 3932576675
ISBN-13: 978-3932576676

Lothar Hirneise travelled the world for many years in search of the most successful cancer therapies and educated people of the fact that there is more than chemotherapy and radiation. Internationally recognised as one of the few authorities in this field, he describes his years of research in this encyclopedia of non-conventional cancer therapies. The reader learns in detail why so-called experts actually know very little about cancer. Besides the description of more than 100 cancer therapies and substances for the treatment of cancer, the author also explains which cancer therapies are used on which cancers in conventional medicine and what we definitely need to know as a patient before subjecting ourselves to such therapies. For the first time the 3E program is described, based on the analysis of case histories of thousands of people who have survived very late stage cancer. Discover why it is that so many people have to die of cancer and others do not. The book not only provides an incredible amount of information, but also helps cancer patients to find their own way to cure cancer by active implementation of the 3E programme.

Questionable chemotherapy

Decision support for cancer treatment

By Dr. Ralph W. Moss
With a foreword by Dr. med. Hans A. Nieper

Karl F. Haug Verlag, Hüthig GmbH - Heidelberg, 1997
ISBN 3-7760-1660-4

Chemo is often the last hope. Chemo together with radiotharapy is the standard cancer therapy. Standard medicine continues to favour this type of treatment. Moss describes in a very rational, considered and informative manner that this type of treatment is highly questionable. The warning indicators that Moss gives have to make your opinions tend more towards the negative. Unless it concerns younger, robust people, chemotherapy is an inhumane treatment that cruelly abuses body and mind. Medical practitioners will not tell you that. Moreover, chemotherapy is a huge business that makes Brystol-Myers Squibb inter alia rich. Moss, who is a doctor and comes from cancer research, brings all of this and much more to light. This is an important book for all those affected who are in urgent need of balanced information. It will always take courage to then maybe decide against chemo. The doctors and most relatives will be in favour of chemo. The responsibility then lies with the hospital and chemistry, and they must all have a clear conscience – in the end they have to do something. But it can be avoided with the one-month hospital visit or the one that never takes place.

Hope, fight and win

to hope

A diagnosis of "cancer" causes significant anxiety in everyone affected – even up to panic. The feeling of helplessness and of being left alone often leads to despair. To banish these feelings and participate actively in their treatment, sufferers need comprehensive concrete help. The declared intention is of the book "Hope, Fight and Win" is to give this. The guide not only provides information about the many facets of cancer and its treatment but also especially encourages actively engaging with the disease - and overcoming it.

The author, Professor Dr. med. Volker Fintelmann, has more than 30 years of experience in the treatment of cancer patients. From his first-hand experience he describes both the treatment methods of conventional medicine and the various biological cancer treatment options.

In the first chapter, "What is cancer?" the various aspects of the disease cancer as a disease of the cell, the immune system and the psyche - are explained in their holistic meaning. In the next chapter, "How does conventional medicine treat it?", the main conventional procedures are briefly outlined. The main chapter "How does biological cancer therapy help?" then follows. Complementary treatment options are described here as sensible and necessary complements to conventional cancer therapy. In the section on drugs in biological cancer therapy, the content focuses on mistletoe therapy along with the trace element selenium, vitamin C and immunoactive liver spleen peptides and thymic peptides. The next chapter deals with the question "What role does nutrition play in cancer?" The importance of dietary supplements (including vitamins as antioxidants) is discussed here. "What can you personally do above and beyond this?" - another chapter is devoted to this important issue. Responsible management of body, soul and spirit are of particular significance in addition to drug therapies, art and movement therapy and therapeutic conversations. A compilation of answers to frequently asked questions, a glossary with explanations of technical terms used and references to further reading and information sources / addresses complete the book and make it a valuable aid to patients and their families.

Percutaneous Bio-electro-therapy of tumors

A documentation of the theory and practice of percutaneous galvanotherapy

Author: Dr. Rudolf Pekar

Language: German

2002, 2nd edition, published by Wilhelm Maudrich, 148 pages, 167 colour illustrations, 2 diagrams, 1 table, Format: 24.5 × 17.5 cm hardcover,
ISBN 3-85175-777-7

There is also an English version with the title: Percutaneous Bio-Electrotherapy of Cancerous Tumours: A Documentation of Basic Principles and Experiences with Bio-Electrotherapy

Cancerous tumours today represent a growing problem. In this book the author shows a new groundbreaking method that could use electricity to solve the dilemma of combating malignant tumours. After a description of historical development, the description of reality and the phenomenon of bioelectrical control of organisms, the author moves on to practical uses and describes the advantages and benefits of therapeutic application by means of extensive photographic documentation. Experiences and results of direct electrical manipulation of accessible tumours are presented. The possibility of carrying out the treatment either sui generis or in combination with current standard tumour therapy is also presented. Materials and equipment needed are also given and described pictorially.

Cancer - The biological and medical tragedy

Pekar, Rudolf / Korpan, Nikolai

Cancer - the medical and biological tragedy

Bio-Oncology - The crisis in cancer medicine and new ways of resolving it.
266 pages, 245 colour illustrations, 12 tables,
ISBN 3-85175-776-9

The book is the essence of the findings of medical officer of health Dr. Rudolf Pekar over his 30 years of research in oncology. Building on early research results of those doctors who designated cancer as a "disease" caused by living microbes and the tumour itself as a result of that, ie a symptom, Dr. Pekar provides the evidence that we are always host to a mass of microbes and that our health or otherwise depends on those same microbes and the state of our immune system.

Myth Cancer Screening

Christian Weymayr / Klaus Koch

The Cancer Screening Myth
Harms & Benefits of screening

Publisher: Eichborn

Hardcover, 296 pages

ISBN 3-8218-3950-3

Precautionary hysteria has reached a crescendo: celebrities call for a colonoscopy, commercials show us the size of hidden tumours, blanket introduction of mammography is on the way. The renowned science journalists Weymayr and Koch analyse the benefits of early detection programmes and sound the alarm: whether breast, prostate, colon or skin cancer - methods of early detection are subject to many risks. These range from misdiagnosis to premature operations and the harm that causes. The authors highlight backgrounds of medical political decisions, reveal scandals in German hospitals and provide answers to important questions: What are the economic and political interests behind the mania for cancer screening? How do precautions operate in other countries? What are the chances of the individual of preventing damage and of accessing the opportunities of medical knowledge?
